Both the Vinland Saga and Attack on Titan are popular anime shows with a significant fan following. Both of these anime series have gained critical acclaim for their deep plots, nuanced characters, and gorgeous animation. The protagonist of the Vinland Saga is Thorfinn, a young child on a quest for vengeance after his father was murdered. Attack on Titan has a more complex plot that deals with conflict, genocide, and themes of identity.
Both fan bases are active on social media. Recently, a discussion emerged in the anime community over allegations that Vinland Saga stole the combat choreography from Attack on Titan. A tweet depicting an astonishing parallel between two scenes from the respective animes sparked a heated debate among fans. This time it is about fans demanding more action scenes in the Vinland Saga and creator Makoto Yukimura shutting them down.

For fans seeking violent concepts, Vinland Saga’s creator recommends Attack on Titan
Makoto Yukimura’s most well-known ongoing project, Vinland Saga, has won accolades from critics all over the world for its messages against violence and conflict as well as its gripping plot and memorable characters. Although many authors choose to maintain a low profile, Yukimura is open to on-screen engagements and has participated in several interviews overall to reach readers all around the world. He found time during his hectic San Diego Comic-Con schedule to talk to the media about his Viking epic.
When asked what he would like to convey to fans who are truly interested in just the violence within the manga, he says that If fans are into his story for the violent side of it, he might not be able to match their expectations at some point.
“If you really want to read about things like violence, you should consider Attack on Titan. I actually do hear comments from the fans saying that they like Thorfinn from back in the day. ‘What happened to him? He’s only farming!’ I hear their complaints, though, and at the same time, I cannot help it. Sorry.”
He does not want to go to war, even if the government orders him to, even if it means spending time in jail. He would prefer not to hold a gun and would not be willing to submit to that. He asserted that there would never be war if everyone on earth shared the same outlook and opposed violence, especially when threatened by the state or those in positions of authority. To prevent future wars throughout the world, he hopes that the younger generation will share these kinds of values. He just has one wish, and it is this. This is the sole hope he wants to convey in his story because he is an optimist.
Violence is the most important theme in Attack on Titan
Anyone who has watched Attack on Titan will likely recall the terrible mayhem caused by one too many Titan invasions on the towns that are located inside the few remaining defenses that humanity possesses against the enormous, man-eating species. Additionally, Attack on Titan will make certain efforts to remind everyone about any particularly horrific deaths or attempts to erase them from memory by providing you with lots of flashbacks from each time a Titan rips someone to pieces.
The anime has many unsettling scenes, and the gruesome and violent killings, dismemberment, and body horror can sometimes desensitize viewers. Nevertheless, Attack on Titan manages to surprise even nonchalant fans. Many deaths have occurred in the anime, but one of the first ones is still the most enduring and significant.
The way Carla Yeager passed away seems like the essence of a nightmare, especially considering how much time was spent in the first few episodes developing her persona as a devoted and loving mother. As Eren watches, a spooky, smiling titan simply snatches her up and eats her like a soaked sandwich.
Along with numerous other violent incidents, Grisha Yeager arrived in Paradise on his Attack Titan and began crushing the Reiss family kids like they were insects. It was, to put it mildly, cold-blooded child murder, and it was even made clear in the most recent episodes that Grisha was bitter and regretful about what he had done.
Sometimes we see entire cities reduced to ruins, while other times we see close-ups of individuals running for their lives only to be trampled by a Titan seconds later. Hence, the main theme of this anime really is blatant violence.
