Regular Game Pass Subscription Plans Remain Intact, No Changes In Pricing
With the new Core subscription plan activated, there are no changes to the regular subscriptions. The monthly subscription tiers which include the $10.99 Console tier, the $9.99 PC tier, and the $16.99 Ultimate tier have not seen any changes to the rates. With the Ultimate tier, gamers will also get access to the Xbox Cloud Gaming catalog, using which games in the library can played on a host of eligible devices.
The three regular Game Pass subscription plans remain the best way to play major titles as all three plans will receive Day One access to most major game releases. Post Starfield‘s global launch, Microsoft revealed a spike in sales of Xbox Series consoles and Game Pass memberships as gamers flocked to try out Bethesda’s masterpiece on Xbox consoles and PCs.
Microsoft is aiming to persuade more gamers to join Game Pass subscriptions with the new, low-cost entry-level tier. Gamers switching to Xbox for the first time can try Game Pass Core for size, by checking out some of the exclusive games and other best-selling titles in the library.
