“I always thought that Poison Ivy was really fun. So maybe something like that would be cool.”

From Uma Thurman’s portrayal in Batman & Robin to Bridget Regan’s portrayal in the third season of the Arrowverse series Batwoman, the character has seen a lot of on-screen transformation.

Karen Gillan is Happy to Work With James Gunn
In the interview, the actress said that she is content working with the Suicide Squad director, which is why she is even open to a less significant role.
“Honestly, if James asked me to play an alien that sits in the background of a shot and doesn’t talk, I would say yes [laughs].”
She further added, “Because working with him has been one of the great joys of my career so far.”
The Guardians‘ cast genuinely enjoyed his direction and company in the MCU film, which is why they even made sincere efforts to bring him back when he was fired from the franchise.
Due to his past insensitive tweets that resurfaced online, Gunn was removed from the Guardians project. However, he was reinstated following a public apology in which he admitted his wrongdoing and shared that he had grown as a person.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which will be the final project of the trilogy, is scheduled to be released on May 5, 2023.
