Alright, which one of you asked for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC? Team Ninja released Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty earlier this year on March 3 for PC on Steam. And it didn’t exactly get the most favorable reviews.
In fact, the reviews were actually quite mixed, and more recently, gamers are absolutely loathing it. This was not really because of the quality of the game itself since its console counterparts were pretty well received, but issues keep arising with its PC version, even months after it was originally released. Which is why it is so surprising that Team Ninja has Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC planned out for at least five months.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC Details
Although the game has been absolutely devoured by players on Steam because of its horrible performance issues, with a review consensus of it not being “worth your money on PC,” Team Ninja is still going ahead with Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC. Team Ninja has truly lived up to its name with its stealthy communication approach, but finally, the studio has revealed some letters from the game’s director and producer, Masakazu Hirayama. The main contents of the letter include a roadmap and updates regarding additional DLC for the game, which comes both for free and at a price, planned out for five months all the way until December.
The most prominent free Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC feature is a completely new boss rush mode, with unexpected collaborations with Lies of P and Nioh. However, to avail most of the elements that truly matter, fans will have to pay in the form of two packs. The two expansion updates will arrive in September and December.
The Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC also includes some general improvements regarding the game’s overall features and balancing. The title of the DLC expansion being released in September is Conqueror of Jiangdong, which will consist of a fresh story and new missions, an additional weapon type, another difficulty level and more enemies, and end-game content with some equipment. Moreover, Team Ninja will reward all of the game’s players with a new Wizardry spell, along with enhancing its balance and features.
The general adjustments and improvements will continue into October and November. The final element of the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC will be the Upheaval in Jingxiang expansion, which will come out in December and add new missions, in-game equipment, and weapon types.

An Apology With the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC
Team Ninja’s letters about the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC also included a section titled “optimization and bug fixes for the PC version,” under which Hirayama personally apologized to PC players who faced countless issues with the game. He said that it wouldn’t be right to discuss the “future” of the game “without talking about the past and present difficulties” that arose with it. The director said sorry for “the inconvenience caused” and that all of the reports have been looked into by the game’s development team.
Hirayama assured that they are giving “top priority” to optimizing the experience by fixing bugs for the PC version of the game. Did you experience issues with the game while playing it on PC as well? Are you still excited for the announced Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC?
