Starfield and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has kept the gaming community on their toes. One has hit the market and is enjoyed by everyone, while the latter is a couple of months away from the release. The 21st Century has seen the in-game graphics gradually get better with each new video game release. Graphics Processing Unit is a must for every PC gamer to play the games at a higher resolution.
Starfield is a high-resolution game. The game partnered up with one of the biggest GPU companies, AMD. With the new AMD FSR feature enabled in Starfield, gamers can enjoy Starfield to its full potential. But AMD’s rival, Nvidia, was left in a bad space since there was no video game to partner with until now. Recently, Nvidia partnered up with one of the most anticipated releases of 2023 – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Will Partner Up With Nvidia DLSS 3
Nvidia DLSS 3 was left in an awkward position when their rival company, AMD, bagged up Starfield. But now, with DLSS 3 partnering up with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, it will act as a lifeline for them. This will be the first time that a particular game will have the full features of the latest Nvidia tech. It will generate super-resolution, frame generation and reflex. The performance of the gaming rigs can be boosted through Nvidia’s latest creation.
But for that to happen, users will need to acquire graphics cards from the GeForce RTX 40 series. Even though Modern Warfare 3 will be the first game to get the DLSS feature, several other games have also chosen Team Green, including Fortnite and Payday 3. Looks like the gaming community has something to look forward to.
AMD FSR Vs. Nvidia DLSS
There are two GPU companies in the market, and each one is rival to the other. AMD has its Graphics Cards named AMD Radeon, while Nvidia has their Graphics Cards called Nvidia GeForce. While AMD FSR is their latest graphics and resolution improvement feature, Team Green has Nvidia DLSS doing the same thing. Now, coming to the performance, DLSS 3 comes with a new feature of full frame generation and can double it at 4K. AMD FSR 2.0 is not yet at that level. So Nvidia DLSS takes the win here.

Regarding compatibility features, AMD FSR is a better option due to Nvidia DLSS because FSR can be supported in any of AMD’s GPUs, while DLSS needs the RTX 4000 series GPUs. Now comes the number of games. In this category, it is a tie because both of them are still in their initial stages. Starfield was AMD FSR’s latest addition, while CoD: MW3 will be Nvidia DLSS’s big reveal. Even though AMD FSR has improved gradually, DLSS takes the win from an overall viewpoint. More options, better performance, and more games are its plus points.
The only setback in Nvidia’s case is that it requires RTX 40 series graphics cars, which is costly. Team Green fans were distressed when they found that Starfield had chosen AMD FSR as their partner. It meant that Nvidia DLSS could not support Starfield. It was a massive setback for Team Green. But now, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Payday 3, and Fortnite, it is time for Team Green to bounce. AMD vs. Nvidia is an eternal rivalry.
