The 29-year-old actor had his Love on Tour finale on July 22 this year in Reggio Emilia, Italy. All in all, the tour turned out a massive financial success after almost two years on the road. Love on Tour started on September 4, 2021, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was spread across seven legs and over 5 continents.

With his last tour stop in Italy, this trek has solidified its position among the highest-grossing musical events of all time. Not just that, the tour has brought in a whopping $617.3 million with an impressive record of selling over 5 million tickets. Isn’t that amazing?

As per Billboard Boxscore, Love On Tour now becomes the fifth-highest-grossing tour ever. Not only has that made him the most successful solo artist in terms of tour grossing but also made him surpass his own group with this new achievement. A fun fact, his solo tour has even exceeded the financial limits that James Gunn’s The Flash was probably going to achieve.

DC Studios co-CEO, James Gunn was super confident about the new project, The Flash featuring Ezra Miller stating its potential of being one of the greatest movies of all time. Arguably, fans were also anticipating the project since it featured a star-studded cast including Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton.

But, the expectations drastically fell six feet under following its release and turned out to be one of the biggest box-office flops of all time. Despite everyone’s expectations, it was unable to even touch the $300 million mark grossing $268 million worldwide.

As to why, the film was unable to make what it was supposed to achieve at the box office because of several factors. The initial problem rose with the lead actor’s personal life which is surrounded by controversies that led DC fans to boycott the project. However, the film was equally panned for its screenplay and visual effects leading to its disastrous performance.
