It’s been a rough time for Will Smith as he faced the repercussions of his actions at the 94th Academy Awards. For those who have been living under a rock, after getting offended by a joke made by Chris Rock about Will Smith’s wife, the actor stomped up to the stage and took a strike at the comedian. The slap was so loud that it was heard around the world!
While the incident became an instant meme on the Internet, Will Smith faced a ton of backlash and people even wanted to boycott his upcoming projects. However, now that the slap has surpassed its first anniversary, it looks like Will Smith is slowly getting over it. While he is currently busy filming and working hard for an installment to one of his most loved franchises, the actor gets photographed smiling on the set.
Will Smith Spotted Shooting in Atlanta
While Will Smith is one of the greatest entertainers of today, his entire career got overshadowed by the 2022 Oscars. People no longer heard his name and thought of his acting or music career. The first thought that came to people’s minds after hearing his name was the slap controversy.
Now, Smith is slowly but surely getting over the whole ordeal as he puts his focus into his work. The actor is currently filming Bad Boys 4 as he returns to play one of his best characters. As reported by TMZ, Smith was spotted in Atlanta during the shoot of Bad Boys 4 and he was all smiles in the photographs. It looks like the I Am Legend actor is back on the grind!
Bad Boys 4 will not be Smith’s first film to come after the slap as he was recently seen in Antoine Fuqua’s Emancipation. As for the photos, it’s tough to say if it was Smith that was seen smiling or Detective Mike Lowery. Whatever may be the case, we are sure his fans are ecstatic to have him back!
