What will happen when Better Call Saul’s Kim Wexler will join the Bad Boys? As reported by Deadline, American actress and director, Rhea Seehorn is all set to join Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in the upcoming installment of the Bad Boys franchise.
Reprising their famous roles of Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, Smith, and Lawrence’s Bad Boys 4-Ever will also feature Paola Núñez, Alexander Ludwig, and Vanessa Hudgens.
What role will Rhea Seehorn portray in Bad Boys 4-Ever?
A newcomer in the $838 Million Bad Boys franchise, Rhea Seehorn is currently filming for the movie in Atlanta. Although no information regarding her role in the movie is available yet, it is known that apart from Seehorn, Fantastic Four actor Ioan Gruffud will also be joining the franchise in the upcoming fourth installment.
Last year, Seehorn landed her first Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series category for her role in Better Call Saul. Moreover, she also bagged a nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Short-Form Comedy or Drama Series for portraying the role of Kris Latimer in Cooper’s Bar.
Interestingly enough, Seehorn is also the co-creator, director, and executive producer of Cooper’s Bar – a show that follows a man’s dream of creating the perfect Tiki Bar experience.
What’s in store for Seehorn this year?
Apart from the award nominations, Seehorn will be reuniting with Vince Gilligan who directed the famous Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul. Reportedly, the VEEP actress has bagged the lead in Gilligan’s upcoming Apple TV+ untitled series.
Moreover, after working in the recent sci-fi dramedy Linoleum, Seehorn is currently working on Bad Boys 4. Originally directed by Michael Bay, the first Bad Boys movie was based on the screenplay sourced by Michael Barrie, Jim Mulholland as well as Doug Richardson.
Produced by Sony, the fourth installment of the movie will witness the return of El Arbi and Fallah as directors who directed the 2020 Bad Boys for Life. Although no particular date of release is finalized yet, the upcoming movie would be tentatively titled Bad Boys 4-Ever.
With an Emmy-nominated actress like Rhea Seehorn joining the film, there’s no doubt that the lead actors Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, along with the movie’s director have bagged a major win for the upcoming installment.
