Director James Gunn hints at a definite end for Chris Pratt’s Star Lord
Director James Gunn, who is also the new head of DC comics, has hinted that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 will signal the end of the franchise. Touted to be the biggest and most ambitious of the three films, fans can expect a wildly emotional and entertaining ride which will also witness Chris Pratt’s character Star Lord coming a full circle. Chris Pratt and his team are the least significant characters in crossovers
The MCU has been hugely successful in integrating their worlds with important crossovers by multiple characters within the universe. Chris Pratt and his Guardians have appeared in Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: End Game and Thor: Love and Thunder with significantly less screen time when compared to many of their other MCU counterparts, possibly making them the least connected characters in the universe. This makes their presence and impact in the future MCU films, doubtful. With James Gunn almost having confirmed the end with this trilogy, their absence seems inevitable.
