The actress has won the hearts of her fans with her thrilling action scenes in movies like Avatar and Guardians of The Galaxy franchises. Zoe Saldana points out the impact of video games on the healthy sexuality of kids
In an interview with Essence, the actress put forward her concerns,
“I think in American society, we’re messing up our kids by taking away the education on awareness of sexuality and replacing it with violence, guns, and video games. We’re breeding little criminals.”
On deeper analysis, it would be too far-fetched to call the children playing video games, little criminals. The actress has herself worked in two blockbuster fictional movies which are very similar to video games, and also earned good money by serving as the voice for several video games. With a vast range of people playing games, it would be incorrect to call gaming fans a little criminal.
However, the statement of the actress seems relatable too at some level as certain video games are violent and addictive. Hence those playing the games holed up in their homes might lose touch with their sexuality. But the connection is yet to be proved.
The comment of The Losers actress seemed like an unintentional invocation of gamer stereotypes. While her words may not have been correct, her intentions are positive. She wishes people to embrace their bodies and sexuality.

Zoe Saldana’s Opining on Sex Education
If nothing, Zoe Saldana is a strong promoter of a healthy s-x life. The actress shared in an interview that she loves s-x and is quite comfortable showing her skin. In an interview with Essence, she revealed,
“I love s-x. I love skin. I don’t believe the body is something to hide.”
According to the actress, healthy s-x life is a very crucial part of life. She shared her thoughts with Cosmopolitan for Latinas,
“I’m not talking about bringing in a third person or watching p*rn all night: That’s what leads people to believe they are amazing in bed when they’re the worst ever.”
“P*rnography is not s-x education – it’s the opposite! Don’t allow insecurities to close you off. Be creative.”
Zoe Saldana was recently seen in the movie Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 and will be seen in Avatar Part 3 and Star Trek 4. Her previous film Avatar: The Way of Water, was a massive success and made over $2 billion at the box office.
