History Of Dragon Ball Live-Action Adaptation
A fact not known to many about Dragon Ball live adaptation is that an attempt of the same has been made earlier in the past, and the outcome was a major failure. The film rights of the Dragon Ball franchise were purchased by none other than The Fox Century in 2002, and a live-action production for the same was put into works.
The film, titled Dragon Ball Evolution came out in 2009 and was considered a major disaster in the history of live-adaptation movies and was often criticized for its script, cast, and unfaithfulness to the source material. The film was so bad that it is considered by many to be one of the worst adaptations of all time.
But something that has recently given fans hope is the tease of the One Piece Live-Action series produced by the famous production studio Netflix. While the last attempt may have been a disaster, this time they just might be able to pull it off, and if they do, fans want this one particular actor to play Master Roshi.

Following is a list of some users on Twitter advocating the same:
If One Piece live-action series turns out to be a major success, there is a high possibility that Netflix just might consider taking up Dragon Ball to be adapted into a live-action series next, finally delivering what fans have been wanting for years now.
