Tidyckilla, having early access to the game, decided to play the game a few days before the release with his wife. The accident occurred on the night of August 31. His decision to play the game meant he would have been wide awake, which helped him listen to the explosion that suddenly went off downstairs.
When Tidyckilla descended the stairs, he discovered flames raging through the stairwell. He and his wife responded quickly and got out of their apartment in time along with their cat, to safety. Even though he said that some of them were slightly injured, Tidyckilla escaped what could’ve been life-threatening.

At 2:26 in the morning, while playing the game, I heard an explosion from my downstairs neighbors apartment.”
He explained how it wasn’t a small explosion as it started a fire. “I paused my game to see what was happen, when I opened the door I saw flames rising up our stairwell to our apartment.”
