“One of the first people I showed the script to was my visual effects supervisor, Andrew Jackson. He’s very well-versed in CG, but he’s also very well-versed in practical effects and understands the value of that. I showed it to him very early on, and I said, ‘Okay, what we need in this film is a thread between the interior process of Oppenheimer, his imagining, his visualizing of atoms, molecules, those interactions, those energy waves.”

After his remarks, many debated on social media about how the critically acclaimed director constructed the intense Trinity test without the use of CGI effects. Andrew Jackson claimed his comments were misquoted, telling THR:

“Some people have picked that up and taken it to mean that there are no visual effects, which is clearly not true. Visual effects can encompass a whole lot of things.”

Director Christopher Nolans strives for perfection and tries to create films that will leave lasting impacts and inspire others in the industry. His latest sensational movie has captivated the audience and received praise from all critics and audiences alike.

Christopher Nolan is one of the most influential and highly acclaimed directors who has touched many milestones and created blockbuster films in his celebrated career. His latest directorial biographical thriller- Oppenheimer, is making waves in the film industry. In an interview, Nolan talked about his magnum opus project, saying,

“We’re trying to tell the story of somebody’s life and their journey through personal history and larger-scale history. And so the subjectivity of the story is everything to me. We want to view these events through Oppenheimer’s eyes. And that was the challenge for Cillian that I set him, to take us on this journey; that was the challenge for Hoyte van Hoytema, my designer, my whole team: how do we view this extraordinary story through the eyes of the person who was at the heart of it? All of our decisions on how to make this film were based on that real premise.”

Oppenheimer has grossed over $727 at the global box office against a budget of $100 million, making it one of the highest-grossing films of this year. It features an A-list star-studded cast ensemble, including Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, Emily Blunt as Katherine Oppenheimer, Robert Oppenheimer, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett, and Rami Malek, among more.
