After years of failure and downfalls, the Transformers franchise is finally managing to stand back up on its own two feet. Netflix’s War For Cybertron anime trilogy is receiving massive critical acclaim. Many fans claim that the Netflix trilogy manages to capture the essence of the Transformers franchise, something its predecessors failed to do. And from official sources, it is confirmed that the finale installment to the War For Cybertron trilogy is going to be one hell of a ride. And that is because a fan favorite Transformers animated series is also going to be a part of it. The Final entry to Netflix’s Transformers: War For Cybertron will include the universally acclaimed Beast Wars as a part of its mythos.
And whom do we need to thank for leaking out this vital piece of information? Why Hasbro of course!! The third Transformers: War For Cybertron entry titled Kingdom, revealed its official tie-in toys via their social media account. Kingdom, as revealed in the Instagram post, will heavily incorporate major elements from the Beast Wars animated series. To be precise, the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons will include two new factions – the Maximals and the Predacons, the two major forces of the Beast Wars franchise.
IGN was the one who revealed the first four toy figure merchandise for the upcoming toy line. Two Beast War heroes were featured in the official reveal. Cheetor and Rattrap were among the toy lines released for pre-orders. The pre-order sales for the Beast Wars action figure is currently live at major online retail stores.

The highly acclaimed Beast Wars series premiered in the year of 1996. It was very well-received by the fans because of the use of revolutionary CGI Technology. It went so far as to win a Daytime Emmy Award next year in 1997. Beast Wars later spawned a sequel show titled Beast Machines, that failed to live up to fans’ expectations. Transformers: War For Cybertron is bringing back the Predacons and the Maximals for another bout to decide the fate of Cybertron.

Netflix’sTransformers: War For Cybertron is a fresh and unique take on the battle between Autobots and the Decepticons. The toy line also takes many leaves and cues from other acclaimed series in the entire Transformers franchise. Other Computer Generated anime series by Rooster Teeth (RWBY, Red vs. Blue) are also inspired by the show and distributed by Netflix. The War For Cybertron trilogy will have three entries. The second and third entries titled Earth Rise and Kingdom, are yet to receive official premiere dates.
The Hasbro PulseCon Event will give us more detailed information on Transformers: War For Cybertron: Earth Rise and Kingdom. The event is set for 10 a.m tomorrow E.T. Considering the new War For Cybertron installments are going to have Beast Wars in it, this will surely help ramp up the hype. It’s good to see the Transformers franchise finally regain its thunder after a decade of abject ridicule. It’s time for the Autobots and the Decepticons to rise again.
