Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy will go down as one of the best superhero trilogy movies of all time. After the end of the trilogy back in 2007, the world yearned to see Tobey Maguire reprise his role of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man on the big screen once again and their wish was finally answered a few years ago when he reprised his role as the friendly webslinger along with Andrew Garfield in the 3rd sequel of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man series, Spider-Man: No Way Home.
In a recent interview, Thomas Haden Church who played the role of Sandman in Spider-Man 3 opened up about possibly reprising his role one more time and revealed that he would definitely be interested in doing it.

A lot of villains from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movies also reprised their roles in Spider-Man: No Way Home including Thomas Haden Church who played the role of the villain, Sandman in Spider-Man 3.
In a recent interview, Church opened up about reprising his role for a 3rd time and revealed that he will be interested if Sam Raimi decides to make another Spider-Man movie with Tobey Maguire playing the role of the titular character. He said,
“There’s always been some kind of…I’ve heard rumors…that Sam Raimi was going to do another [Spider-Man movie] with Tobey [Maguire] and if that happens, I would probably campaign to maybe at least do a cameo.”
Sam Raimi once also opened up about the possibility of the 4th Spider-Man movie with Tobey Maguire starring in the lead role and revealed he would also be interested in reviving the series.

Last year, Sam Raimi directed the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness movie and revealed that the movie has opened up many possibilities about the future of the MCU including a universe where we might see Tobey Maguire in the lead role of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man once again. Raimi said,
“I’ve come to realize after making Doctor Strange that anything is possible, really anything in the Marvel universe, any team-ups… I don’t really have a story or a plan. I don’t know if Marvel would be interested in that right now. I don’t know what their thoughts are about that. I haven’t really pursued that. But it sounds beautiful. Even if it wasn’t a Spider-Man movie, I’d love to work with Tobey again, in a different role.”
Although Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man movies were quite well appreciated when they were released, Spider-Man: No Way Home is arguably the best Spider-Man movie to date. The only movie that comes even to Spider-Man: No Way Home is Sony’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse which was released earlier this year.
All of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man movies are currently streaming on Netflix.
