Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge was recently added to Xbox Games Pass and is being encouraged as a title to play with the pizza scented TMNT Xbox controller. This is a throwback to 80s style arcade games and can be played solo or with up six players at the same time. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles titles have always been a great way to get friends together with local co-op modes and Shredder’s Revenge is no different.

The TMNT Xbox controller will also be great paired with the Minecraft DLC, Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, which releases to the Minecraft Marketplace on August 3rd. It will include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles villains, iconic locations, special skins, and a free digital t-shirt. The digital t-shit will be available to players on September 1st.

The there is the film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, which is the reason for the TMNT Xbox Controller. The movie is directed by Jeff Rowe, with Seth Rogen as a producer and writer. Many fans have been comparing the animation style to the Spiderverse series, with high hopes it will return the same level of quality. The Xbox website announcing the pizza controller describes the film the following way:

“After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.”

This sounds like an exciting addition to the TMNT franchise and it will certainly be getting a lot of attention when it releases. TMNT Xbox controller enthusiasts might even have purchase the movie on the Microsoft Store, so they can smell and watch all at the same time. Just make sure not to take  a bite, if you win that limited edition ooze green accessory.
