Fans have been patiently waiting for a return of Obi-Wan Kenobi. While the show isn’t in active development, the possibility of season two does look promising. Even if there is a season two, it is difficult to determine how Princess Leia would fit into the storyline.

In a recent interview, Vivian Lyra Blair spoke up about how even Evan McGregor has been hoping for a season two of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Expressing her fondness for the show, even Blair hopes to return as Leia.

“… And I think I would love to, but I was saying like, I don’t see how I would fit into it, because it’s very implied that she doesn’t see him again until she asked for help in the fourth movie, ‘A New Hope.’ And so, I think it’s kind of like, how would I fit into that? And so we’re kind of hoping for my own show there. We’re kind of thinking it could be fun to do a show of Leia on Alderaan. And I really hope something like that could work out.”

As much as Blair wants Kenobi to get a second season, she has also paced her bets on a spin-off series focusing solely on Princess Leia.

Even though Vivian Lyra Blair might have made a fair point of having a spin-off featuring Princess Leia, fans seem to be divided over this idea. Most think that a spin-off would be completely unnecessary. Here is what fans have to say,

Some fans even went ahead to say that being a literal 11-year-old child, it is obvious that Blair would love to play Leia. While others expressed how having a show about a little Leia would be unnecessary as it isn’t until she is 19 that her character gets worth noticing.
