Austin Butler received his first Oscar nomination for his performance as Elvis Presley in the 2022 musical drama. The film received multiple Oscar nominations along with Best Actor and Best Picture. Butler starred in the lead and was also nominated for Best Actor Oscar.
After the award show, the Dude actor joined the Oscar after-party with his girlfriend, Kaia Gerber. His ex Vanessa Hudgens was also spotted at Vanity Fair’s Oscar party. Both of them were seen crossing paths outside the after-party.
However, netizens were quick to notice that the Polar actress straight off ignored her ex. Footage from the Oscars after-party shows the two outside the Oscar party crossing paths briefly.
Hudgens even seems to notice Butler as she looks up but decides to continue to walk past her ex. It came as surprise after Austin Butler shared that his ex-girlfriend was the one who recommended him to try to seek Elvis. He also expressed his gratitude, saying that he owes her for believing in him.

Austin Butler attended the Academy Awards ceremony with his longtime friend and agent, James Farrell. When asked why his partner Kaia Gerber was not with him, the 32-year-old actor said, “I owe my career to him, so as a thank you, I wanted him to be by my side tonight.”
Although she was not seen at the award ceremony, Kaia Gerber was by Butler’s side at Vanity Fair’s Oscar party. The couple has been together for over a year and is still going strong. However, people were surprised by Vanessa Hudgens’ behavior. They have started discussing how the Spring Breakers actress ignored her ex at the after-party.
While many deemed her behavior odd and called it “crazy” and “depressing” to be avoided by someone a person dated for years, others also shared that she might have ignored him, as she recently got engaged to the professional baseball player Cole Tucker.
