The film franchise Terminator made Arnold Schwarzenegger one of the biggest stars in the movie Industry. The first installment debuted on the big screen on 26 October 1984. Schwarzenegger has attained almost goals of his life, the actor is the former Governor of California, a businessman, a filmmaker, and a retired bodybuilder.

 The 75-year-old actor came from a small city in Austria and became one of the most-known personalities globally. Schwarzenegger was very serious about his acting profession and he always went to great lengths to make sure he was giving his best. During an interview, the Fubar actor opened up about some interesting details about when he was filming for the movie The Terminator.

When Arnold Schwarzenegger made an appearance on The Howard Stern Show the actor shared many things about his past life and acting career. One of the most interesting things that Howard Stern brought up during the interview was how the Commando actor would not let any co-stars interact with him. In response to this, the actor stated that he wanted everyone to look at him like he is a robot. The 75-year-old actor stated,

Not So much for my sake because I can disconnect completely and just be the robot but I was worried about them that if they get connected to me and they start looking at me they would not look at me with the same threat and fear. I wanted to come into the room and I wanted to have that impact.” 

The host of the show Stern said that the actor wanted to create an intimidating impact on the people around him. Schwarzenegger also added that this would bring a certain facial reaction and it helps from an acting point of view.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is now done with the Terminator franchise

The Predator actor will always look at the Terminator film series as the movie that brought success to him but the actor now wants to give up on the franchise. During an interview, the actor spoke about his plans for the sci-fi and action film series. While talking about coming back into his robotic character the actor said,

“The franchise is not done. I’m done. I got the message loud and clear that the world wants to move on with a different theme when it comes to ‘The Terminator.” 

He further added,

“Someone has to come up with a great idea. Terminator’ was largely responsible for my success, so I always would look at it very fondly. The first three movies were great. Number four Salvation I was not in because I was governor. Then five Genisys and six Dark Fate didn’t close the deal as far as I’m concerned. We knew that ahead of time because they were just not well written.”
