Call Of Duty Next is all set to go Live next month, on the 5th of October, where a lot of first looks and reveals will be made, as usual. This year’s live stream will include first looks at unseen content from the upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, Warzone, and Warzone Mobile as well, ahead of its global release later this year. Activision has invited a host of Call of Duty streamers to their event to reveal MW3 Multiplayer at COD Next for the first time. The big reveal will pit streamers against pros, facing each other and showcasing a variety of game modes and maps.
While fans and streamers wait with bated breath for more details and to get early access hands-on with the game, one of the streamers who wasn’t invited to the event this year has called out Activision.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Launches Later This Year, Early Access Dates Starts Next Month
The upcoming reboot from Activision, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, is all set to debut on the 10th of November, with open beta early access scheduled for next month right after COD Next event. The live stream event is scheduled for the 5th of October, where Multiplayer mode will be showcased, and gamers who have pre-ordered the game will get early access to the game on PlayStation starting from the 6th of October.
Next month’s event will bring together a lot of popular Call of Duty streamers, with one notable absentee as popular streamer Nadia Amine is not invited. Amine was earlier alleged to have cheated at last year’s Next event, however, she did not get permanently banned. Instead, Amine went on to gain more recognition and amassed a lot of followers on her streaming channels, post the event. She will, however, not be seen at the Next event this year.
Nadia Amine Calls Out Activision For Being Sexist, After Being Snubbed For This Year’s Event
For this year’s COD Next event, Amine has called out Activision for not sending her an official event. Amine initially posted on her social media account calling Activision “sexist” as they snubbed her for posting her bikini pics online, while male streamers get away with posting their shirtless pictures online. Amine also mentioned how fellow female streamer, FaZe Kalei, was also snubbed by Activision for her rather controversial tweets.
Amine stated that when she reached out to the team at Call of Duty about their double standards, they “dismissed it & lied”. That post has since been deleted by her, but not before the post got several replies, mostly stating how she wasn’t streaming Warzone as often as before.
During her live stream, later on, Amine stated that the popularity of the game was down during a previous preview event and that snubbing her and a few other streamers started since then. Amine revealed that she did reach out to contacts at Activision to figure out the reason. Amine said she was informed that she was considered a “brand risk” due to which she may not be invited. She mentioned further that she wasn’t given any clarification about whether or not she was definitely out of the event.
Twitch Tracker Data Shows Nadia Amine Has Not Been Streaming Call of Duty Often Lately
Looking at Amine’s recent streaming details, from Twitch Tracker, the total stream time for Warzone has come down considerably over the past 3 months. Amine has been streaming to chat with her followers and her popular “Pools, Hot Tubs and Beaches” streams, both of which had more the twice and thrice the stream time compared to Warzone since July. Fans were quick to point this out while replying to her social media post about Activision’s bias which has since been deleted.
Amine responded to this as well, stating she wasn’t exactly sure her stream time for Warzone had gone down. Amine believes all invites for this year’s event have gone out already although other creators have stated the invites haven’t gone out to all yet, so things may still change for Amine.
