The situation surrounding Jonathan Majors’ case has already taken a toll on the actor’s career, as despite his quick rise to the top, his future in the prominent role of Kang remains in jeopardy. Following the domestic abuse allegations, which led to the actor’s arrest in NYC last month, multiple new alleged abuse cases have recently popped up against the Kang The Conqueror actor.
However, following the sudden uprise in multiple alleged victims, who are coming forward with their experiences against the Marvel actor, fans have been questioning the legitimacy of these charges. Many believe that they might be just looking to exploit the situation.
Fans question the legitimacy of the new charges against Jonathan Majors
The domestic abuse allegations haven’t been easy on the Creed 3 star, and even though the charges surrounding the actor are yet to be proven, the case alone has taken a huge toll on Majors. With his talent management company reportedly cutting ties with the actor and his name being dropped from several upcoming projects, new charges alleged against the actor have only worsened things for Jonathan Majors.
But considering the situation surrounding the actor, and the sudden upsurge in alleged abuse victims, fans are questioning the legitimacy of the whole scenario on Twitter.
Following the gravity of the new cases against the Marvel star, his attorney Priya Chaudhry came forward to make a statement and brushed off these new alleged charges.
Jonathan Majors’ attorney claimed that the recent charges are false
Although the situation around Jonathan Majors has already cost him several jobs, the actor’s attorney Priya Chaudhry has repeatedly claimed that they have enough evidence to prove Majors’ innocence. Following the recent uprise of multiple alleged abuse victims against the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star, Priya Chaudhry claimed that these new charges are false. While speaking with Page Six, the attorney explained the situation by stating,
“Jonathan Majors is innocent and has not abused anyone. We have provided irrefutable evidence to the District Attorney that the charges are false. We are confident that he will be fully exonerated.”
Although the DA has refused to comment on the whole situation, fans are still standing behind the Marvel star as they believe that one is innocent until proven guilty. With the actor set to make his first court appearance on May 8, it will not be long before everyone can see the truth for themselves regarding the whole drama.
