Shooting some intimate scenes could be tough for the actors. Not only for the off-screen relationship of the actors but also due to the strange friendship that they share. Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake had a similar time on the sets of the 2011 movie Friends With Benefits
Talking about being naked together with Justin Timberlake, the American actress revealed that she had held auditions for body doubles and that they were checking the derrieres of body doubles that matched hers the most.
When Mila Kunis Was Uncomfortable With Justin Timberlake
The 2011 movie Friends With Benefits changed the thinking of a generation when they introduced the term to a worldwide audience. Mila Kunis starred alongside Justin Timberlake and the movie received equally good reviews from around the world.
According to the Black Swan actress, she had to take the auditions for a body double as she desperately wanted one for a nude scene. The reports stated that Kunis was uncomfortable in doing a nude scene with Justin Timberlake for reasons unknown. This turned into a hilarious tale however as Mila Kunis revealed that she had to look at several derrieres and find out the one that resembled Kunis’ the most.
“These young ladies came in. They were in a casting room and I was there, the director and the casting director and my makeup artist were there. And these lovely women had to show us their derrieres and we chose the one that resembled my body the most without looking like it’s fake.”
The actress also revealed her reason not to expose her body since although it was absolutely her decision, her reasoning was also justified. The actress jokingly said that she “can’t just give away everything all at once,”.
Justin Timberlake Was Comfortable For The Nude Scenes
Although Mila Kunis was not ready to reveal her body yet, Justin Timberlake, on the other hand, was ready to let it all out. According to an interview, Timberlake reasoned for showcasing actual nudity in the movie since everything was where it was supposed to be.
“I only did it because I’m young now, and everything’s where it’s supposed to be,” singer-turned-actor has said of of the nudity. “I figured this is the time, before gravity gets the best of me.”
The 2011 movie Friends With Benefits saw an average of 6.5/10 on IMDB and 68% on Rotten Tomatoes as the film received mixed reviews from people. The movie did, however, put the name of Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis at the forefront of Hollywood as both actors went on to receive greater projects in their careers.
