Kit Harington leaves Marvel fans disheartened after debunking a major rumor

The fans of Blade are no strangers to disappointing updates regarding MCU’s upcoming take on the character, as the film has already suffered major delays ever since it was announced back in 2019. And recently, actor Kit Harington, who was rumored to star alongside Mahershala Ali in the upcoming Blade reboot, has brushed off his inclusion in the film.

In one of the post-credit scenes for Eternals, Whitman could be seen picking up his family’s legacy sword with a voice (later confirmed to be Mahershala Ali) offscreen asking him  “Are you sure you’re ready for that?” Although it led many to speculate the actor’s inclusion in the upcoming Blade movie, unfortunately, it isn’t the case. Harington clarified,

“The honest answer is I think that’s the intention with the character. I think there was some misunderstanding about whether he was going to be in the ‘Blade’ movie. He was never meant to be in the ‘Blade’ movie and isn’t.”
