A new narrative-driven game surfaces and it's about The Walking Dead

The developer GameMill Entertainment and the owner of the series, AMC, decided to drop this announcement bomb for The Walking Dead Destinies on the lap of the gaming community on a full Thursday with the first images of the project. The adventure will be a third-person, action-packed, story-driven adventure, where choices made in gameplay shape the storyline that spans Seasons 1-4 of the iconic TV show. You’ll even be able to rewrite who lives and who dies in this reinterpretation of the series in game form that isn’t just for one platform, we’re talking about PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

The game will start by stepping into the shoes of none other than Rick Grimes himself as he will walk through iconic locations from the show such as the Greene farm, the prison, Woodbury, and the ever-infamous Atlanta. Developer GameMill promises that each player will be the master of their journey as they navigate those sticky situations that could change the script of how it all played out on TV.

Plus, the cast list is packed with over a dozen characters straight from the AMC TV show. Shane, Michonne, Carol, Daryl, and of course the main man himself, Rick, each with their own killer move set. Think of the weapons he’ll be using, clubs, katanas, handguns, shotguns, and crossbows because the zombie apocalypse isn’t handing out free goodies. Now, GameMill has spilled the beans and given another important piece of information The Walking Dead Destinies is going to be released with a price tag of $49.99.
