Hugh Grant on break-up with Elizabeth Hurley
There was once a time when Hugh Grant and Elizabeth Hurley were the power couple of the Hollywood industry. They even worked together in a movie named Rowing with the Wind. The two actors dated for a long duration of 13 years.
In an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Hugh Grant revealed the reason for the end of his romantic relationship with ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley,
“The s*x bit probably fizzled out, but now she’s my absolute best friend—the number one person I call in a crisis.”
The couple met each other on the sets of Remando Al Viento in 1987. After a long committed relationship, the duo separated in 2000. It was after the period when Grant was infamously caught with a prostitute in 1995. The actors ultimately split in 2000 after trying to work on their relationship for years. The breakup was amicable.

The beautiful actress also graced the show Watch What Happens Live, sometime after Grant’s interview. On being asked about her breakup with Grant, she shared that they are still good friends. Her reason for the break-up was different from that of the Two Weeks Notice star.
Hurley shared, “He used to really annoy me, actually. I mean, I love him, but, um, he’s very annoying.” She also shared that her friends had a delightful little nickname for her former boyfriend, “My friends used to call him Grumpelstiltskin. He is very grumpy,” she told Cohen.
The host said, “But I found it actually fairly charming.”
Hurley continued, “I do too, but not 24/7.”
The host also asked her to rank Hugh Grant on a scale of 1-10 for his expertise in the sack. The actress replies, “Of course, he was a 10, I was with him for 13 years.”
Hugh Grant is presently married to Swedish producer Anna Elisabet Eberstein.
