Rockstar, the developer behind GTA 6, has been going through a lot of different changes over the past few weeks as it has added a brand-new studio in LA to their roster. The company is also losing a few members of staff that have been in the company for several years. Due to the loss of these employees a number of fans are now worried about the future of GTA 6 and whether this change to Rockstar will impact the future of the game.
What Impacts Will These Developments Have on the Gta 6 Storyline?
So far, the main storyline for GTA 6 has either already been completed or is very close to completion. This is good news as this would mean that the unfortunate leaving of Vice President of Writing Micheal Unsworth will not impact the outcome for GTA 6’s writing. Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean this cannot change at any moment, as there is always potential Rockstar could choose to change certain aspects of the game or pivotal moments, which would require re-writing, and have severe effects on the final product.
This news most likely won’t affect the main storyline of GTA 6, but there has been discussion amongst fans that this could affect any future DLC that could come to GTA 6. The company is losing one of their veteran writers who has worked on the past two GTA titles and has had a hand in creating some of the best dialogue throughout the entire GTA series, which is cause for concern. It also has many fans worried as to what could happen to the future of GTA 6 past the official release date.

How Will This Unfortunate Circumstance Change Rockstar in the Future?
Over the sixteen years that Micheal Unsworth has worked for Rockstar, he has worked on numerous titles for the company and has received a lot of positive responses for that work. Now that he has left the company, many fans are worried this could affect other games from familiar franchises that he has worked on. He has been such an instrumental part of the company and its development over the years in terms of writing.
Whilst working at Rockstar, Micheal Unsworth has helped develop a few different titles like Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2, LA Noire, Max Payne, and GTA IV & V, which shows how he has impacted the past few installments. He was quite involved in Rockstar’s long list of game IP’s the company has under its belt. Now that Unsworth has left the company there is a limited amount of writers left and we can only hope they can keep up the standard of writing that has been worked on over the years by the likes of Unsworth.
