The Mandalorian has been rapidly establishing itself as the definitive Star Wars staple for the fans after the disappointing trilogy of the Skywalker saga. But most importantly, she confirmed the presence of the fan-favorite Ahsoka Tano, whose appearance was speculated before the second season premiered. As Mando is now seeking out the charismatic Jedi padawan to reunite the Child with its own kind, how can Ahsoka Tano help protect Baby Yoda from the sinister forces of Moff Gideon?

As the former apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano is an accomplished fighter using the ways of the Force. A skilled user of dual lightsabers, Ahsoka Tano is one of the most fearsome warriors who stood her ground against Darth Maul in The Clone Wars, survived against Darth Vader, and swiftly defeated the new Inquisitors. As one of Moff Gideon’s agents planted a tracking device in the Razor Crest, Ahsoka Tano should be prepared for a few unwelcoming visitors and the show’s first lightsaber duel.
Though Mando and the Child are mostly covered on the security part, Ahsoka plays a larger role in reuniting the Child with its own kind. As a former Jedi apprentice, Ahsoka is probably the only person from the show who has interacted with Master Yoda. As a result, she might be able to shed some light on Baby Yoda’s mysterious race.

As the latest episode of The Mandalorian revisited the controversial midi-chlorians, Ahsoka is also one of the few people during this particular timeline who can explain it to Din Djarin. But then, Ahsoka is no longer associated with the Jedi Order, which makes reuniting Baby Yoda with its own kind a bit difficult. However, the Star Wars world always has surprising allies, and the Rebel leader might soon set out on her own expedition to find Ezra Bridger, the key to bringing Baby Yoda to the Jedi.
