Benicio del Toro’s Cryptic Reply to Elevator S*x Rumors
Long back Benicio del Toro was asked about the rumor which implied that he had s*x with the Lucy star before she was married to Ryan Reynolds. To this, he teased the media and kept it ambiguous enough for all of us to keep guessing.
“Did I ever have sex in an elevator with Scarlett Johansson after an awards show?I kind of like, you know, I, well. I don’t know. Let’s leave that to somebody’s imagination. Let’s not promote it. I’m sure it has happened before. It might not be the last time either.”
The actor’s response led to much speculation; even the actress in question always dodged the question. Both of them were young at that time, but things seem to have changed.
Scarlett Johansson Bursts the Elevator S*x Rumor
On the TheSkimm’s 9 to 5ish podcast, the Endgame star finally revealed the truth. She burst the rumors and said how unappealing it is. The actress also acknowledged the logistical problems that came with it.
“When I was younger it was more acceptable to write really nasty, slutty things about young actresses. That was a story that followed me for a long time.That was a story that followed me for a long time. But I always thought that was outrageous.”
She continued,
“I was always thinking to myself, That would be tough. It’s a very short period — the logistics of that seem so unappealing to me. I’m a person who’s terrified of being caught doing something I’m not supposed to be doing,” she explained. “So that made the story even that much more absurd to me.”
Scarlett Johansson is not wrong. If we are to think practically, lifts are too small, and well they do not give enough privacy to its occupants. The actress has been on the news as she talks about the pains of bringing up a toddler, and opened up about the patience required to handle kids. She is all set to pay a visit on the silver screen with her performance in Asteroid City, which is a comedy/drama.
