The Last Hope has Lost Hope as it is Removed from Store

Last week The Last Hope, which was developed by West Connection Limited, appeared on the Nintendo Eshop and received a lot of negative comments from the public as many gamers spoke out about The Last Hope, saying that it was a blatant “Knock off” of The Last Of Us which was developed by Sony. After a week of negative comments, the game has now been removed from the Nintendo Eshop and has had its trailers removed by Sony on Youtube.

Why has The Last Hope been removed from the Nintendo Eshop?

So far, neither Nintendo nor Sony has commented on The Last Hope being on the Nintendo Eshop, but we can assume the reason it has been removed from the Nintendo Eshop is due to its blatancy copy of Sony’s The Last Of Us even down to its cover photo and characters. Many reviewers played The Last Hope before it was removed from the Nintendo Eshop and came out to say that it is “The worst game we’ve ever tested,” which was said by Analysts Digital Foundry.

This was stated during a video which was used to display the game’s outdated graphics during a review video, which has helped the negative reviews as it isn’t just a copy of The Last Of Us; it is also a lousy copy which just causes even more issues. Even though The Last Hope has been removed from the Nintendo Eshop for, players who did buy the game whilst it was in the store they will still be able to play The Last Hope, and if they have purchased it and deleted it, they will still able to redownload it, but for anyone who searches for it, they will get an error message or redirected to another more popular game.

What issues can arise for West Connection Limited?

The Last Hope Has Lost Hope As It Is Removed From Store

As stated before, Sony and Nintendo haven’t made a comment regarding The Last Hope being on the Nintendo Eshop even though it is a blatant knockoff, but when they do make a comment, be assured there will be very serious consequences for West Connection Limited as they have caused a lot of issues for Sony and for players who have bought this game even out of curiosity.

At the moment, West Connection Limited already have a few different games which are currently active on the Nintendo Eshop, and will most likely be investigated to ensure that these games are not copies as well, so there will undoubtedly be an investigation into these games which may also result in those games being discontinued on the Nintendo Eshop sometime in the future.
