Fallon inquired about the rumor suggesting that Millie Bobby Brown was on the verge of quitting acting just before landing her role in Stranger Things. reportedly, Millie Bobby Brown’s role in Stranger Things initially earned her approximately $30,000 per episode for Seasons 1 and 2. However, by the time Season 3 rolled around, her salary reportedly received a substantial boost to approximately $250,000 per episode.

Brown said on The Tonight Show:

“I think I was just very disheartened by the rejection, which is something that I tell everyone — this industry is just full of rejection 24/7. You get ‘no’s, a lot of ‘no’s, before you get a ‘yes.'”

Brown went on to explain that during that period, she had been auditioning for commercials and minor roles. However, she also took a shot at landing a role on HBO’s popular show.

“I then auditioned for Game of Thrones and I got a ‘no’ for that, and then that’s when I was like ‘Oh, this is really difficult.’ I guess I really wanted that role.”
