Can The Batman II take on Avengers: Infinity War?

Amassing over $2.48 billion worldwide, Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Avengers: Infinity War is known as one of the most expensive films ever made with a staggering budget of $325-400 million. Reportedly, filming for The Batman II is not expected to commence until the end of 2023. Originally scheduled for release on October 3, 2025, the movie has encountered a halt owing to the ongoing WGA Writers’ Strike. Hence, it is conjectured that the production phase might now begin only in 202 with some scenes likely to be shot in London.

Moreover, there are rumors suggesting the return of Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face.
