Wes Bentley expects a bloodbath in the season finale of Yellowstone
The 44 years old actor, who has been part of the show since the first season, has some exciting thoughts about the upcoming episodes. He shared with TVLine, in an interview conducted before the recent Writers Strike,
“I thought it was really amazing to see the restraint [in the first half of] this season from the violence.”
Bentley shared that the cast of the show could be in real danger and bodies may start dropping for the classic TV show. He said,
“It was a different kind of intensity than we’ve had in previous seasons. Maybe that’s a build-up for some crazy bloodbath at the end, or maybe that tension continues until it explodes in some more compact way.”
Wes Bentley shared that he has no inside news about the ploy. The plot twists in the show are only in the hands of the creator Taylor Sheridan.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Taylor Sheridan shared that the final part of the season would have ten episodes, making a total of eighteen episodes. He said,
“If I think it takes 10 episodes to wrap it up, they’ll give me 10. It’ll be as long as it needs to be.”
The release date of the final part episodes is yet to be declared.
Will Kevin Costner be seen in Yellowstone season 5 part 2?
There has been a previous announcement that actor Kevin Costner will be leaving the country theme show after its fifth season. However, there are speculations among fans about his appearance in Yellowstone season 5 part 2. The concerns are fuelled by the new legal documents that the actor has filed during his ongoing divorce proceedings with Christine Baumgartner.
As per Insider, the report states,
“I will earn substantially less in 2023 than I did in 2022. This is because I am no longer under contract for ‘Yellowstone,’ the principal source of my income last year.”
However, the report does not clarify if the actor will be part of the final episodes of the season. He has stated that he is under no contract with the production, hence it would meager chances of his appearance in the show.
While this news doesn’t preclude the possibility of Costner joining the show for its final episodes, the fact that the actor is no longer under contract means that his presence is no longer guaranteed.
