Emma Stone is a natural when it comes to improvising a scene. In one of the earlier performances in her career, she ended up shocking everyone on set with her masterstroke idea.
Her co-stars in the film were blown away and didn’t see Stone playing out a scene like she did from miles away. Becoming Gwen Stacy only propelled her into super-stardom, but she had it in her all along.
The directors of her romantic comedy couldn’t believe that she acted in the most comfortable manner when asked to spice things up a little bit.
Also, her confidence alongside one of the co-stars that she was rumored to be in a relationship with, made her performance all the more believable.
Emma Stone’s Co-Star Was Surprised By Her Charming Act
In a multi-star cast film, actors have to keep their game strong as an unexpected turn of events can shake up an entire scene. Emma Stone playing Hannah in Crazy, Stupid, Love dignified her as the most spontaneous actor to be around.
Her on-screen love interest in the initial phases of the film, played by the incredibly talented singer-turned actor – Josh Groban, in one of his conversations with GQ, recalled being swept away by her as the directors wanted them to kiss at the last moment.
“And I’m thinking, ‘Holy s**t. That wasn’t in the script. I’ve never kissed on camera before. What does that mean? What do I have to do?” And Emma’s just this total pro. She pulls out her lip gloss, and says, ‘It’s cherry. That cool with you?’”
He further added that he was absolutely stunned and will forever cherish his first official on-screen kiss with The Amazing Spider-Man actress.

The Hollars Actor Believes He Always Had A Beast In Him
Disney definitely picked the right guy to play the part of the beast in their musical – Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration. Groban always believed that he had it in him to play the part of the jerk Richard, thanks to his act with Emma Stone.
In the same interview, he recalled –
“I just nailed the douchebag character. I could have used a few takes, maybe some notes to get me there. But no, I guess I had it in me all along.”
Premiered on ABC network back in December, last year, Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration was more of a tribute to Disney’s original 1991 animated version. Groban as the beast and Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson playing the beauty Belle stole the show in the Hamish Hamilton-directed hybrid animated musical.
Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration can be streamed on the Disney+ app.
