Thanos Turned the Hulk into His Dog, Made Him Eat All the Avengers: “He literally ate America’s A**”

Thanos Turned the Hulk into His Dog, Made Him Eat All the Avengers

The beauty of the comic universe lies in its ability to generate endless outcomes. Regardless of the finality of death or the constancy of immortality, change always arrives and brings with it a new saga of superheroes fighting supervillains in the endless multiverse and its variable timelines. In one, Thanos rises above his altruistic notions of restoring balance to the universe and becomes the true embodiment of evil as King Thanos. The destruction and wreckage that followed in his wake extinguished his entire universe including every God and Celestial all for the sake of one thing: love.

King Thanos Ends the Universe, Turns the Hulk Into His Pet

If there was a single version of reality where Thanos is so completely and unfailingly ruthless that his violence makes even Mistress Death turn away in shock and disgust, it would be too much for even the Avengers to comprehend standing up to, let alone winning. In this version, Thanos kills all of the Earth’s Mightiest, King Thor, the Maestro, and more without breaking a sweat. He ends entire planets with a single energy blast, decimates the Eternals and the Celestials, reducing them to ashes, and returns them to the dust. In the end, only Hulk and the immortal Cosmic Ghost Rider remain as his timeless pet and right-hand man/servant respectively.

As King Thanos sits on his throne, desolate and alone, the immortal Rider has some meat chopped up for the “dog.” It turns out, the dog was the Hulk tied to the basement of the Mad Titan’s palace, and the green Avenger sitting atop a pile of bones, among which also lies objects like Captain America’s shield, a piece of Iron Man’s armor, the claws of Wolverine, and Haweye’s bow in one corner. It is then implied that the Hulk who has been turned into this monstrous pet dog, lost his integrity and the trait that made him remain humane, and ate his fellow Avengers who he had once fought shoulder-to-shoulder with.

As was then aptly pointed out by a fan, And thus, Hulk literally ate America’s A**.”

King Thanos – a Version Too Brutal Even For Mistress Death

When this particular version of Thanos was born, he was the pure embodiment of evil and chaos. Those who dared to look into his eyes went mad and those who stood in his path were snuffed out. As he went on ravaging entire worlds, galaxies, and universes all for the sake of winning Death’s love, this ultimate and too-powerful version eradicated almost every being in his universe with the Cosmic Ghost Rider by his side as his willing ally.

As the comic proceeds, the readers find King Thanos faced with an empty universe devoid of any and all beings except the Hulk, the Cosmic Ghost Rider, and a version of the Silver Surfer that was one of the strongest ones yet. A battle that ends the lives of the Rider and the Silver Surfer, finds Thanos going up against his younger self from the past who, after being disgusted by this version of his future self, returns to his timeline vowing never to become King Thanos, thus erasing the latter from existence.
