The death of Rubeus Hagrid actor Robbie Coltrane’s death at the end of this year was already a huge blow to the old guard of the acting industry. And now, just a few months later comes the news about the death of one of the most memorable faces from the Terminator movie series- Earl Boen.
Popularly known as the face of a recurring character in the series called Dr. Peter Silberman, the 81-year-old passed away peacefully in the American state of Hawaii. It has truly been a saddening few months for fans of popular movie franchises, keep reading to find out more details about the actor’s death.
Terminator Series Star Earl Boen Passes Away At The Age Of 81
Born during the peak of the Second World War in 1941, Earl Boen was an actor with a stellar track record in movies. Starting off in 1950 as an actor, the The Terminator star had humble beginnings as he began the profession on stage between 1965-76 and eventually moved to Hollywood soon after.
First known for portraying the role of the Harper family’s pastor in the 1980s sitcom Mama’s Family, Further works of his include acting in episodes of The Golden Girls and Seinfeld and even in the role of voice acting in G.I. Joe: The Movie.
The 81-year-old actor has unfortunately broken the bad news of being diagnosed with stage four lung cancer last year, as a friend of Boen said, but it has not been declared as the cause of death. Having starred in three Terminator movies- The Terminator, Judgement Day, and Rise of the Machines (and an archive footage appearance in Dark Fate)- Hollywood has lost a real one.
He is currently survived by his second wife Cathy, daughter Ruby, and two grandchildren named Kimmy Abaricia and Kimo Harbin.

“Had no idea he did a voice on #batman Very talented character actor who tasted the sweet fruit of sci-fi stardom. Earl Boen… a human performer. No glamor. Just acting. The good days.”
