TakeTwo Interactive, the famed publisher in charge of publishing the Grand Theft Auto series, has recently released its earning reports for the first quarter of the Fiscal year 2024, and these reports tell us that TakeTwo received a net booking of $1.2 Billion for the first fiscal quarter and details that this is higher than expected, but in this report, they also state that they are expecting the rest of the fiscal year to add up to $5.45 Billion to $5.5 Billion over the entire fiscal year.

What does this report tell us about GTA6?
Over the past few months, many gamers have been speculating that GTA6 will be arriving sometime in 2024, and this recent earning report is very much giving us a more guaranteed answer to that speculation, as TakeTwo has already said in the past that they are expecting major things to happen during this period. Through this information, we can only assume that GTA6 will be coming sometime in the early months of 2024; we still cannot pinpoint an exact month as that fiscal year for 2024 runs all the way to the end of March.
Even though this report has been released with statements from TakeTwo Interactive hinting towards a potential big title release, there is always potential for change as TakeTwo is also expecting their 2025 fiscal year to be a big one as they have also stated that they feel the fiscal year of 2025 could lead them to net earnings of up to $8 Billion.

If TakeTwo’s expectations for their fiscal year are accurate, we can assume that they will be doing a big climb to becoming a high-grossing company with big titles under their belt, and that’s not just through GTA as they also have numerous different titles that they are planning to release over the next two years and hopefully they will be able to expand on games like GTA6 and give players numerous different activities after it does release.
Even though many gamers are excited about GTA6 and are eagerly awaiting the release, the longer it delays, the more likely fans will lose hope of it ever releasing, thanks to this earnings report being released by TakeTwo and their confidence in their potential net earnings for the rest of the fiscal year, we can have a lot more confidence that GTA6 is very close to completion and potentially an announcement with a release date, which will bring TakeTwo back into the light.
