The time for a family get-together is upon the people as the trailer for the upcoming Fast X dropped recently. With a heavy, heavy emphasis on family, Vin Diesel shines as the shepherd of the crew in the trailer.
With callbacks to previous films, Paul Walker, and a whole lot of nostalgia, the trailer was received with mixed reviews from the people. Seemingly tired of the nonsensical saving-the-world trope while also regaling the adrenaline rush during a car race, the people trolled the Fast X trailer for Dominic Toretto’s obsession with his family.
Fast X Will Be The Beginning of The End of The Road
With the franchise already declining in popularity, fans await the release of the upcoming Fast & Furious movie that will one day be the final one. The trailer for Fast X dropped by recently and it did not take long before people started trolling the franchise and the movie for its repetitive themes, situations, and storylines about revenge.
With Dominic Toretto’s ever-expanding family chilling in their homes, Jason Momoa’s character wants vengeance. Seemingly left for dead when Toretto and O’Conner steal the gold vault in Fast Five, Momoa is back for vengeance and directly aims for the beloved crew of Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto as his emotional weak point. The trailer, having featured magnificent action scenes and a throwback to the older movies and especially Paul Walker, was showered with praises but it was also trolled for…a familial theme.
It wasn’t long before the people started trolling the trailer and some of these trolls are quite hilarious as they seem to hit borderline honesty.
Aside from the usual stuff, the trailer does look good as waves of nostalgia hit across the face by seeing Paul Walker and the racing from the earlier movies take place. The movie will seemingly wage an all-out war for the crew of Dominic Toretto as they struggle to fight against Jason Momoa’s villain and Charlize Theron’s Cipher in Fast X.
Fast X Will Bring An All-Out War For Toretto’s Crew
With an ensemble cast of characters that seemingly fit Dom’s family, there are going to be an equal amount of casualties in the upcoming movie. Director Louis Leterrier talks about the all-out war and the number of casualties that the movie will showcase forcing audiences to pick a side for better or worse.
“There’s a war brewing. It’s coming to an end, and it is a race to the finish. There will be some tremendous casualties. People are going to need to take sides. Alliances will need to be made. Good guys will become bad guys, bad guys will become good guys.”
With indestructible cars and weak helicopters, Fast X is slated for a release date of 19th May 2023 to be released theatrically across the U.S.
