The Star Wars franchise has been seeing a lot of fluctuating reviews as of late. Fans are either fully dedicated to the franchise or slowly falling out of their love for the science fiction world that once ruled their hearts. Although Disney+ has some shows that have still kept the hopes of the fans ongoing. It is not enough for them to still be as dedicated to the franchise as they were before.
While some characters can be made loveable after a little trial and error, such being the case of Ahsoka, others have a harder time. Daisy Ridley has received a lot of backlash ever since she first debuted as Rey Skywalker in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. She is said to make her return as well. However, fans want to see someone else more than her.
Galen Marek, The Best of Star Wars
Galen Marek’s Starkiller appeared in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and he has since been dearly loved by fans of the franchise. He first appeared in Soulcalibur IV and since has been a constant for the video game series. Non-canonically he is also a part of Star Wars Legends with him appearing in the LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. There he was identified as The Apprentice, a name he often goes by.
This just so happens to be because he is the personal assassin of Darth Vader, who also trained him in the first place. Famously known by his codename, the Starkiller, he was kept a secret for a very long time by Vader. Galen Marek was born to two Jedis but he was raised in the ways of the Sith as he was taken by the Dark Lord. He easily became a fan favorite because of his lore and just how interesting the character was. So it would not be a surprise for fans to want a live-action version of the character rather than Daisy Ridley’s Rey.
Fans Want To See Starkiller In Star Wars
Fans are hoping to see a live-action version of Starkiller because of how much love the character gets. He is unique in his own way and the fact that Daisy Ridley is set to return as Rey Skywalker has made this demand even higher. His character has been ever loved and fans are willing to wait a while even if it means they would get the perfect Galen Marek on their screens.
They just want to touch on how great the older movies used to be and how well they managed to excite the fans, something the Star Wars franchise has not done in a while. Perhaps the addition of The Apprentice might change things for the franchise.
