Ships are so vital within the game, however, players must be very aware that they will face many threats along their travels into deep space. So, building a ship that will be safe, but also able to carry crew and supplies is a must.
The first things fans must remember are the class of ship they are making, either an A, B, or C class ship will require different aspects.
Class A ships are fast and mobile, however they offer a lower level of fire power, Class B ships are the most evenly balanced allowing the player a good level of mobility and a moderate level of firepower, and a Class C ship being less mobile, allows for a much higher level of fire power and damage.
It is important to note that the different classes of ships cost different amounts with class C reactors costing quite a bit. Players need to be aware of how much a ship will cost before building, so as not to run out of money before the ships can be completed.
Don’t Forget The Essentials.
It’s important that when building a ship all the essential parts are there. While no two ships are going to be exactly alike, it’s important to remember these parts as they could mean the difference between a good ship and a great ship.

- Every Ship needs a cockpit, as this is where all the important aspects of the flying take place.
- An engine is also needed, but don’t forget that it needs to be powerful enough to power the mass of the ship, too small and the ship wont be going anywhere.
- What good is your ship without fuel, don’t forget that this needs to be able to accommodate the length of your voyage. It’s not going to be the most fun if you run out of fuel in deep space.
- The reactor within your ship is the basis for which the rest of the ship is built upon. It is the part of the ship that determines what parts can and cannot be used as well as the class of your vessel.
- It’s all well and good being able to fly the ship ,but landing gear must not be forgotten as they are needed to prevent crashing into the ground. It would be a waste to make the trip if you cant explore once you arrive.
- Lets not forget the Grav Drive allowing you to jump across gravity and remember the more you upgrade this the further you can jump.
