Bethesda’s highly anticipated game, Starfield, was finally released on 6th September 2023 on Xbox Series X, Xbox Game Pass, and Steam. Fans have already crowned it as Bethesda’s best game thanks to its immersive experience and jaw-dropping visuals. So far, the game has received positive reviews from players around the world.
One of the first enemies the player comes across in the game are members of Crimson Fleet, a pirate faction. The Crimson Fleet is less of a single organized entity, and more of a loose confederation of individual pirate captains, who all work under the same banner. As the main character, the player can join this organization by doing these simple steps.
How to join the Crimson Fleet in Starfield?
Joining the Crimson Fleet in Starfield is easier than one would imagine. There are several ways to do it, with the easiest one being: by simply approaching Commander Ikande in the Operations Center of the UC Vanguard’s main ship. Another way to do it is to commit a crime in New Jemison so the player gets arrested for their crime.
After committing the crime, Commander Ikande gives the player two options: Go to jail for the crime or find a way to infiltrate the Crimson Fleet. By agreeing to help, the player is told that the pirates might ask them to commit crimes, and how the player navigates through those situations is entirely up to them, however, if the player gets caught, there are still consequences of it.
The quest contains 8 missions in total
In total, there are 8 missions in Crimson Fleet side quest, Deep Cover, Rook Meets King, Echoes of the Past, Breaking the Bank, The Best There Is, Absolute Power, Eye of the Storm, and Legacy’s End. It is best for the player to join the pirate faction earlier in the game as Crimson Fleet vessels will attack on sight, however, by joining them, they’ll turn into friendlies.
Keep an eye out for other factions that you can encounter in the game, such as the United Colonies, Freestar Collective, and Ryujin Industries. The Standard Edition of Starfield launched at $70 on Wednesday, 6 September 2023 across the globe on Xbox Series X, Xbox Game Pass, and Steam.
