29-Year Old Starfield Leaker Booked on Major Felony Charges for Possession of Stolen Property

Starfield Leaker

Starfield leaker has recently been spoiling the fun for many gamers out there who are waiting to play one of the most highly anticipated video games of the year. However, he has now been hit with felony charges as a result of this illicit activity. After leaking the first 45 minutes of Bethesda’s upcoming RPG, Dan Harris went on to list copies of the game for sale. The 29-year-old had reportedly stolen several copies of the game that he then tried to sell.

The official website for the Shelby County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office notes that Harris was arrested yesterday, August 24. The Starfield leaker is now facing one felony charge for “possession of stolen property worth $2,500-$10,000” as well as misdemeanor charges for possession of stolen property worth $1,000 or less, and possession of marijuana.

The Starfield leaker not only released footage of the game, but also sold several copies of the unreleased title.

Although it is possible these charges have nothing whatsoever to do with the Starfield leaker’s activities related to the game, since the records do not specifically name the anticipated RPG. Additionally, many viewers pointed out he seemed not to be very familiar with RPG-style games.

In response to these criticisms, Harris noted that he was “just trying something out” and that it is “a good game.” He goes on to add “y’all don’t want to miss it.” Given he somehow came into possession of multiple copies of the title for both Xbox and PC, including various special editions, it seems most likely these charges are related to them. He even posted videos of himself going to FedEx to ship the orders to prove that he was not faking them.

Although the Starfield leaker streamed the first 40 minutes of the game, there are still hundreds of hours worth of discoveries for players to see.

Y’all thought I’d be out here putting stuff on the internet and it ain’t real? Nah baby, that ain’t how we do it, that ain’t how we do that,” Harris said with a silver tongue. “Y’all used to playing with little boys.
