Starfield is one of the most hyped games among the gaming community at the moment and the game is likely going to be one of the biggest games of the decades and not just in content size. With the mechanics that we are promised that we will receive in the game, it could actually redefine the whole genre of action roleplay games.
Starfield is all set to be released later this year on PC and the X-Box Series X|S.
The Gaming Community opens up about their views on Bugs in Bethesda Games
The gaming company, Bethesda which has developed Starfield has also developed many successful games of the same genre like Skyrim and Fallout in the past and most of these were quite buggy upon their release. A Reddit user recently opened up about the unrest in the community surrounding these bugs and talked about how they are actually not a bad thing as such. The Reddit user also explained the reason behind these bugs and said,
“I keep seeing posts stating that Starfield will be buggy at launch or that Bethesda’s engine is horrible and outdated. I think what a lot of gamers overlook is that the reason games like Skyrim and Fallout are so good is they truly make you feel like you are in those worlds and one major way they do that is giving the player freedom to play how they want. Want go through the main quest or just walk in a direction and see what you find?….What I am trying to say with all of this is I think in the past Bethesda’s games have been buggy because it does what other games fall short of and that is create a totally immersive world that grants me the freedom to approach it however I like. Other games that restrict that freedom just have a lot easier time eliminating bugs and glitches.”
The gaming community on Reddit showed their support for Starfield and revealed that a few bugs here and there does not make any game bad. One user replied,
“Glad to see some positivity about this topic. Yeah, I agree the buggy nature of BGS games is charming for me too. Genuinely I like it…I love these games[Fallout and Skyrim] for letting me loot basically everything from the desk fan to the bubble gum on the counter. But yeah maybe that is the reason all these bugs happen.”
Despite the hype for Starfield, it is still unsure if a lot of PC users will be able to play the game considering the long list of heavy requirements the game will require.
PC users will need some powerful machines to play Starfield on their devices
A lot of PC users were excited to play Starfield when it was announced that the game will available on PC as well other than the X-Box Series X|S. However, as the system requirements for the game were released, a lot of PC gamers decided that they are going to have to sit this one out for the time being until they can upgrade their PCs or get an X-Box altogether.
