Danny Trejo, the man known for Spy Kids and Machete is currently filing for bankruptcy. It seems that stars also cannot escape the claws of the IRS since the actor is filing the case under pressure and bankruptcy is an option that the actor has at his disposal.
Talking to TMZ, Danny Trejo talked about his successful career (2000s kids remember), and his filing for bankruptcy. Adulthood is indeed terrifying.
Danny Trejo Files For Bankruptcy After Failing To Pay Taxes
For those of the unversed (probably not), IRS stands for Internal Revenue Service. In recent years, many actors have filed heavy taxes to the IRS due to their income. The latest that could not seem to shake off the tax is Danny Trejo.

The actor, known for portraying the character of Machete during the early 2000s and 2010s, has filed for bankruptcy due to taxes that he cannot seem to pay. Talking about filing the bankruptcy, Trejo revealed that he owes quite some taxes to the IRS and bankruptcy will help him organize the debt.
Danny Trejo revealed that he has a bill of $2 million that he owes to the IRS that needs to be resolved. Stating that he was mistakingly claiming deductions instead of what he owed to the IRS, the actor stated that filing for bankruptcy seemed pretty convenient. The actor even jokingly told that dog grooming cannot be written off the taxes as a legit expense.
Danny Trejo revealed that the whole ordeal can be expected to be finished by sometime next year but on the positive side, the actor is doing just fine.

The actor had a rough childhood growing up. Danny Trejo was heavily involved with dealing drugs in and out of Los Angeles and had been to jail many times due to the crime. Following the years, Trejo became sober and acted as a drug counselor for people wanting to quit.
One of the actors that were supported by Trejo asked him about drugs. Not wanting to relapse, the actor was worried that he may start taking drugs on the sets in Hollywood. Danny Trejo went on the sets every day to give guidance to the actor and to take care of him. It was during these moments that he was asked about wanting to be an extra in the film.
“This guy says, ‘Hey, do you wanna be in this movie?’ And I say, ‘What do I gotta do?’ He says, ‘Do you wanna be an extra?’ ‘Can you act like a convict? he asked. I said, ‘I’m a professional,'”
And the rest was history. Danny Trejo, being 78 years of age, has been known for many movies and has a plethora of upcoming ones too. The actor is rumored to portray the role of his titular character Machete again in Machete Kills in Space. The movie is currently set in the pre-production phase but will soon entice the audience when Danny Trejo returns to the big screens.
