The original Spider-Man film came out in 2002. That’s how old we are now. It represented a paradigm shift of sorts in superhero movies. Sure, there were many others in and around that time. Blade was a good film and subsequent series. Punisher and Daredevil however didn’t really hit it off with people. Spider-Man was a risky take on a quintessential American superhero that really paved the way to develop its trilogy and also to set off a blueprint as to how fun superhero movies can be created. Online discussions still argue about who the better Spider-Man or Peter Parker is.
It was a big step for many of the actors involved in the project. Let us see how they have fared as the movie nears its 20th anniversary next year.
