Brad Pitt and George Clooney As Two Lone Wolf Fixers

Brad Pitt and George Clooney are reuniting, 15 years after Ocean’s Eleven, in an upcoming Jon Watts-directed spy thriller, Wolves. Produced by Apple Studios, the film began its principal photography in early January 2023 in New York City.

The Fight Club actor and Gravity actors filmed scenes in Harlem and Chinatown. While most details are kept under wrap, the only thing revealed so far is a tiny-little logline that suggests:

Interestingly, The Night Of star Poorna Jagannathan and The Walking Dead actor Austin Abrams were added to the movie’s cast in February 2023. The movie’s development is still advancing and another electrifying actress, Oscar-winner Amy Ryan is also set to join Clooney and Pitt in the thriller.

George Clooney Wants The Pair To Be Modern-Day Paul Newman and Robert Redford

George Clooney and Brad Pitt starred together 15 years ago, becoming a part of a $1.4 billion franchise. At the 2023 TCM Classic Film Festival, the 2001’s Ocean’s Eleven actor joked about the possibility of a crossover between the heist franchise and Magic Mike, both produced and directed by Steven Soderbergh.

He teased about his character, Danny Ocean: “They killed me, by the way,” mentioning that Debbie (Sandra Bullock) frequently visited the gravesite of her brother in the 2018 film. But again, “no one is ever confirmed as being in the tomb,” and Debbie even “ponders whether or not Danny is really dead.”

The director, who was also in attendance, refrained from answering Clooney’s idea of a crossover, but for Clooney, it was about coming together with his co-stars, one being Brad Pitt. As for Apple Studios’ Wolves, Clooney previously revealed in an interview that he always wanted “the two of them to become, like, the modern-day Paul Newman and Robert Redford.”

Some fans, however, are disappointed as Clooney pairs with Brad Pitt, a man who is being referred to as a “known domestic abuser,” and a revengeful person, trying to engage Angelina Jolie in another financially-abusive lawsuit.

Ocean’s Eleven is available for streaming on Netflix.
