Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 is here after a long hiatus. The anime’s first season aired in 2020 and continued till early 2021. It went through an interesting phase of introducing all the main characters and showing what they were capable. The Jujutsu Kaisen manga has been going on a full flow, but the anime lovers were not satisfied with that. They wanted season 2 as soon as possible.
They can hardly contain their joy because season 2 is streaming online. Another reason for that joy is the much-awaited Shibuya Incident arc. But even after the success of the anime, Jujutsu Kaisen creator Gege Akutami apologized to their fans. They also mentioned that they cannot guarantee that the mistake won’t happen again.
Gege Akutami Commits Mistake In Season 2
Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. After completing the Hidden Inventory arc, the anime will focus on the Shibuya Incident arc. The manga has shown several interesting details in this arc. This arc will prove to be an important journey for Yuji Itadori and his Jujutsu High friends. The characters will go through a transformation and become more mature.
Even after such good things, Gege Akutami did make a mistake for which they apologized. They said,” Thanks for Season 2 Episode 6! Really happy to see that even the transition episode between arcs is also super well done!! The great key animation for the human worm part reminds me of [Tetsuya] Takeuchi-san’s work for Kannagi!! Whoa, that was 15 years ago?! Seriouslyyyyyy!? P.S. I’m behind on that thing that starts with manu- and ends with -script, so I couldn’t watch the episode in real-time. Sorry…no guarantees this won’t happen again in the future.”
Gege Akutami apologized to their fans for not being able to watch the latest episode of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2. But they praised the whole production team for doing the animation so brilliantly. They were spot on regarding the transitional phase. As for the mistake, Gege Akutami did mention that they do not give any guarantee that it won’t happen again.

The latest episode of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 is episode 6. This episode showed the beginning of the Shibuya Incident Arc. As the season progresses, more will come. It showed just a glimpse of the whole arc. It remains one of the most awaited and anticipated arcs in anime history. MAPPA studios handle the animations. So, fans are expecting one hell of a ride.
This is the best moment to try for people who are not a fan of Jujutsu Kaisen. Season 2 will have 23 episodes. So, a lot will happen over the next few months. But it would be better if, instead of apologizing, Gege Akutami could watch their own creation as a fan.
