Spider-Man is one of the most loved heroes in the superhero universe. Owing to the massive success and fans’ love for the comics, its first live-screen movie was released in 2002. The role of the web-slinging action hero made the lead Tobey Maguire an overnight star. The movie was a massive success, which led to more Spider-Man movies including Spider-Man 2 in 2004 and Spider-Man 3 in 2007. The big and soulful-eyed boy received amazing reviews from critics and fans.
Since that time, numerous movies have been made on Spider-Man with the entry of more actors like Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland.

It would be interesting to note that Tom Holland’s biggest hit was made at a $58 million lesser budget than Tobey Maguire’s greatest hit, Spider-Man 3. However, the box office collection for Holland’s movie was more than double the collection of Maguire’s film.
