The actress has since dabbled in many other professions such as creating her own perfumes, introducing her own line of hair care products, and also starting her own production house. However, Aniston claims that she has a passion for interior designing and in fact, her skills in transforming home decor helped her deal with her divorce from her ex-husband Justin Theroux.

Before becoming a household name with the sitcom FRIENDS, Jennifer Aniston started her career on the stage. However, she also tried to pursue her passion for acting, by taking multiple jobs. She worked as a telemarketer and a bike messenger to keep her afloat. She also worked as a waitress, which would ultimately help her play the role of Rachel Green, who is a waitress in the first few seasons of FRIENDS.

After the end of the sitcom, she starred in a number of feature films such as Bruce Almighty, Office Space, and the Horrible Bosses series. She created her own brand of perfume called ‘Jennifer Aniston’ in 2010, and even released more fragrances such as J, Beachskape, Near Dusk, and more.

Jennifer Aniston started a production house along with her then-husband Brad Pitt called Plan B Entertainment. Aniston left the company after her divorce with Pitt in 2005. She then co-founded the production company Echo Films along with Kristin Hann, which has produced films such as Cake, Murder Mystery 2, and the TV show The Morning Show.

While the actress has tasted success in most of the ventures she has started, Jennifer Aniston mentioned that she has a passion for interior design and that she has a real eye for home decor. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, she said,

“I love putting homes together and creating spaces…I can walk into a house and see what it needs…And it’s a fun process. Some people dread it…It can break up relationships. I thrive during that process.”

She mentioned that if she were ever to switch careers, she would love to be an interior designer as she loved to find ways to put back together a broken house. While it sounds like a metaphor for healing after broken relationships, the actress seems to have used the same strategy to cope with her divorce from actor Justin Theroux. In an interview with Allure, she spoke about how she transformed Theroux’s office with her own ideas, saying,

“This was Justin’s office. You can imagine he likes things black and dark. I lightened it up, stripped it all…He came over and was like, ‘What the f*ck did you do?’ I said, ‘I brought the light back in, buddy.'”

Aniston and Theroux got engaged in 2012 and were married in 2015. After two and half years the couple announced their separation in 2017.
