American comedian Kathy Griffin is well-known for her bold and provocative style. Throughout her career, she has established herself as a fearless and outspoken entertainer, tackling controversial topics with wit and satire. During her journey to stardom, Griffin met actress Sharon Stone and once talked about her most memorable moment with her.
Back in 2016, the comedian appeared for an interview and revealed that she went to Sharon Stone’s house to watch the results of the presidential election. The two supported Hillary Clinton and the turnout disheartened everyone. In order to cheer everyone up, the two decided to do something.

In 2016, comedian Kathy Griffin appeared on The Howard Stern Show and recalled the time she went to actress Sharon Stone‘s house to watch the results of the 2016 presidential election. Griffin said,
“I watched the election with Sharon Stone at Sharon Stone’s house. She used to loathe me. When it started to go horribly wrong, [Sharon] would say ‘dance break’ and both of us took our tops off and we were just shaking our t**s. My hand to God.”
Both of them supported Hillary Clinton and as soon as they realized that things are not looking good they tried to cheer everyone up.
Around 20 people were at Sharon Stone’s house
The comedian further explained that roughly 20 people came to Sharon Stone’s house that day and they went completely topless for them,
“Not just bras, bras off and dancing around being silly. That’s my kind of gal.”
In 2017, Kathy Griffin was criticized because of a photo shoot in which she posed with a fake severed head resembling then-US President Donald Trump. The controversy impacted her career and she had to later apologize for the photo, acknowledging that it had gone too far.
Kathy Griffin battled cancer
Griffin is well-known for her straightforward approach to comedy. In recent times, the comedian has been struggling with a major health issue, however, she has managed to fight through it all. In August 2021, she revealed that she has been diagnosed with lung cancer. She also went through a vocal cord surgery amid her battle with cancer.
In December 2021, she revealed that she is officially cancer-free and is holding up well. With all her health problems sorted out, Griffin got back to what she loves the most, comedy.
