Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon is in the headlines as her ex-husband – Jim Toth has recently been spotted in Costa Rica with his new girlfriend.
Separated in March, Witherspoon is reportedly taking the help of her two close friends who live very similar lives to find herself a romantic partner as she feels a void in her life.
The 47-year-old actor-turned-producer has been married two times. After divorcing Ryan Phillippe in 2008, Witherspoon married Toth in 2011 and gave birth to a son – Tennessee Toth a year later.
Sources close to the two have shared that the ex-partners separated due to differences in their business ventures.
Reese Witherspoon Doesn’t Feel Isolated In Her Second Divorce
According to Closer Magazine, Reese Witherspoon is quite happy with the romantic life of her ex-husband, but she doesn’t want to lose out on finding a long-term partner for herself.
In early July, she spoke to Harper’s Bazaar about her second divorce and how the media flew off the handle during her separation from Phillippe.
“When I was divorced before, the tabloid media got to tell people how I was feeling or how I was processing, and it felt very out of control,” she said. “To be able to talk to people directly about what’s going on in my life and just share it in the way that I share great professional experiences or personal experiences, it feels much more authentic to be able to say things in my own voice and not let somebody else control what’s happening.”
She also noted that it is important for her to be vulnerable at this time and that she rather feels more connected to her friends Sofia Vergara and Jennifer Aniston.

Reese Witherspoon, as Closer UK reports, wants to fulfill a vacuum that her second divorce has caused and looked to Aniston and Vergara for help.
Sadly, the two haven’t been of much help to her. Excelling at work and taking care of her three children, Reese Witherspoon doesn’t really have time for a relationship, even though she may feel so.
“She doesn’t really know how to find a man,” noted the source.
Balancing work and personal life can get the best of actors, and for someone as busy as her, dating may just prove to be a long shot.
Reese Witherspoon will be next seen in Amazon Studios’ You’re Cordially Invited alongside Will Ferrell. The release date is undisclosed.
